Inpatient Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation is more than working to regain physical function. It’s also learning to cope with new physical and emotional challenges as well as readjusting to everyday life.

St. Claire HealthCare’s comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation unit, conveniently located on the 5th floor of St. Claire Regional Medical Center, is ideal for patients who require a combination of physical, occupational, and speech therapies because of life-changing illnesses or accidents. St. Claire HealthCare’s inpatient rehabilitation unit specializes in providing patients the care they need to achieve the quickest, most complete recovery possible.

Common conditions needing inpatient rehabilitation include, but are not limited to, stroke, head or spinal cord injuries, major trauma, amputation, hip fractures, and other neurological and orthopedic conditions.

Our team of medical and rehabilitation experts design custom rehabilitation programs for each patient to get them back home or to the next level of care as quickly as possible. In fact, our success rate for getting patients back home is higher than state and national averages.

We work closely with our patients and their families and bring together a personalized care team designed to meet the individual needs of each patient.
