Treatment Options

After carefully evaluate your symptoms and diagnosing your condition, your doctor will discuss your treatment

Nonsurgical Treatment - Depending on the severity of your condition, your doctor may recommend conservative treatments such as anti-inflammatory medications or steroid injections to aid in your recovery.

Physical Therapy - Physical therapists who specialize in sports injuries (link to PT page) can create a customized exercise plan to restore optimal movement and function. Physical therapy may also be required to help you prepare for, or rehabilitate after, a surgical procedure.

Surgical Procedures - When conservative treatments don’t work, surgery may be necessary. St. Claire HealthCare’s board-certified orthopedic surgeons have extensive training in orthopedic procedures using the most minimally-invasive procedures possible.
