Joint Replacement Surgery

Reducing pain and restoring mobility so you can live life to the fullest.

Don't let chronic joint pain hold you back. When non-surgical options are no longer managing pain associated with arthritis, diseased, or damaged joints, a total joint replacement (often called arthroplasty) may dramatically decrease your pain, restore mobility, and improve your quality of life.

What is a total joint replacement?

During a total joint replacement surgery, a specially-trained orthopedic surgeon will remove the damaged bone and cartilage and replace it with an artificial joint. The most common joints replaced are hips, knees, and shoulders, but other joints can also be replaced.

Depending on the severity of your condition, your surgeon may recommend a partial joint replacement where only the damaged portion of the joint.

What are the benefits of a total joint replacement?

After a total joint replacement you may find your pain and stiffness is dramatically improved, improving your overall quality of life.

Am I a candidate for total joint replacement?

If your painful joint limits your ability to perform daily activities or keeps you awake at night, and other conservative treatments are no longer providing relief, you may be a candidate for total joint replacement.
