St. Claire HealthCare Welcomes First Baby of the New Year

St. Claire HealthCare welcomed the first baby of the New Year, on January 2, 2024.

Baby girl, Wrenleigh Elaine Griffith, was born to proud parents, Roger and McKayla Griffith, of Elliott County. Wrenleigh made her arrival at 11:22 AM on Tuesday weighing 7 lbs. 2 oz. and measuring 21.5 inches long. She was delivered by Rachael Kelsey, MD, with UK Morehead Women’s Healthcare.

“We are thrilled to celebrate the arrival of the first baby of the New Year at St. Claire Regional Medical Center,” said Angie Johnson, BSN, RN, Nurse Manager for SCH’s Labor & Delivery Unit. “It’s a joyous occasion for the entire community and we extend our warmest congratulations to the Griffith family.”

St. Claire celebrated the first baby of the New Year by showering Wrenleigh with gifts including a Pack ‘N’ Play, a car seat, a backpack diaper bag, diapers, clothing, and additional basic care items.
