St. Claire HealthCare and The Porter Group Insurance, LLC Provide Meaningful Internship

Through an innovative partnership, St. Claire HealthCare and The Porter Group Insurance, LLC are providing a college student pursuing a degree in healthcare management with an extremely meaningful internship. During the spring 2024 semester, this internship opportunity was awarded to Anna Heineman.

A native of Ashland, KY, Heineman is a senior healthcare management major at Morehead State University. During her time as an intern at SCH, she has been able to learn valuable skills and participate in many impactful projects and community events.

“I am grateful for the opportunities I have had in my field of study here at St. Claire,” said Heineman. “I am excited to work with The Porter Group this semester and learn more about their service to our community.”

After she graduates this spring, Heineman plans to pursue her master's in healthcare administration.

“We are glad we can provide this opportunity for a student continuing their education in our community,” said Gene Porter, Owner and CEO of The Porter Group Insurance, LLC. “This will be a great opportunity for Anna and we are delighted to see her develop and grow professionally throughout the internship,” furthered Julia Porter, Owner and CFO of The Porter Group Insurance, LLC.
