UK St. Claire Foundation’s Annual Benefit Golf Outing Raises Nearly $100,000 for Bath County Christian Social Services

The UK St. Claire Foundation is excited to announce another successful benefit golf outing. This year’s event, presented by The Citizens Bank, raised almost $100,000, a record-breaking amount for the annual golf outing. All proceeds from the event will go to Bath County Christian Social Services, whose facility was lost in a fire in February.

“I would like to thank everyone on behalf of the people in Bath County, the Sisters of Notre Dame, the St. Claire Board of Directors, and everyone at St. Claire for showing their support for our neighbors in Bath County,” said Donald H. Lloyd, II, President/CEO of SCH. “The amazing work completed by the Bath County Christian Social Services exemplifies everything that we at St. Claire stand for and we are honored to work with them.”

The event received sponsorship from several local companies including American Business Solutions, Blue CPAs/Advisors, Charlotte Mullins State Farm Insurance, DBL Law, Eagle Chevrolet -GMC, Stock Yards Bank, The Citizens Bank, and The Porter Group.

“The outpouring of support was amazing,” said Mindy Highley, SCH Executive Director of Community Engagement & Philanthropy. “We are extremely grateful for everyone who came together to help us raise nearly $100,000 for our neighbors in Bath County as we continue to carry out the St. Claire mission in our service region.”

Forty-seven teams registered to participate in this year's outing, another record-breaking number for the event. Participants played in either the morning or afternoon flight on the beautiful greens of Eagle Trace Golf Course, located in Morehead.
