St. Claire HealthCare Welcomes Kelly Wright as the new Manager of Central Sterile Services

St. Claire HealthCare is happy to announce Kelly Wright as the new Manager, Central Sterile Services.

In this role, Wright will supervise all sterile processing activities, ranging from scheduling, educating, and training. She will also create and implement successful staff orientation for sterile processing technicians, as well as ensure surgical instruments are properly distributed to the operating rooms and ancillary clinics.

“I have worked in many hospitals, but this one feels most like home to me,” said Wright. “I’m excited to start my journey here and ensure that patient safety is always the number one priority in the sterile processing department.”

Originally from Louisa, Kentucky, Wright has been working in sterile processing for over seven years. She is both a Certified Registered Central Sterile Tech (CRCST) and a Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS). She obtained her Associate of Applied Science from Ashland Community and Technical School and received her Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certificate from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
