St. Claire HealthCare Updates Masking Requirements

St. Claire HealthCare Updates Masking Requirements

St. Claire HealthCare announced it has updated its masking requirements. Effective immediately, masks will no longer be required in public spaces at SCH facilities including waiting rooms, hallways, the cafeteria, the gift shop, and administrative areas.

However, masking will still be required for patients, visitors, and staff in clinical areas, such as the patient care units, exam rooms, procedural areas, diagnostic imaging, and other areas identified by clinical leadership.

The clinical leadership of SCH will continue to closely monitor COVID activity in the communities they serve and will adjust the masking requirement as necessary. As always, SCH is dedicated to keeping its patients, visitors, and staff safe.

Signage will be posted in the areas requiring masks. Anyone who is coughing, sneezing, running a fever, or experiencing any symptoms of a contagious illness will be encouraged to wear a mask when around others to prevent the spread of illnesses.
