St. Claire Family Dentistry in Morehead Welcomes Lin Peng, DMD

St. Claire HealthCare is excited to welcome Lin Peng, DMD, to its Family Dentistry practice at St. Claire Primary Care – Morehead, Downtown!

Dr. Peng brings a passion for helping people to St. Claire and is happy to be able to assist patients in achieving the dental health they deserve.

“I became a dentist because of a promise I had made to help people when I was in college,” Dr. Peng recalled. “At the time I was shadowing a dentist who helped me with a tooth filling that was creating issues for me. When I offered to pay him, he responded with ‘I just ask that you pay it forward and become a dentist so you can help people, too.’ I kept that promise.”

Dr. Peng earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Berea College. She then followed the path to become a dentist and earned a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry.

“I was the first of my family to earn a college degree. I always knew I had a love for science and healthcare, so I wanted to take that extra step in my education to follow that passion,” said Dr. Peng. “I’m happy with that decision and am reminded of my purpose with every patient that walks through my door, whether it be someone that has maintained their dental health, someone that has previously neglected it but now shows an interest in correcting their issues, or someone that just wants to ensure proper dental care for their child.”
