Kyra Baier, PA-C, RDMS, RT, Joins St. Claire HealthCare Hospitalist Team

St. Claire HealthCare is excited to welcome Kyra Baier, PA-C, RDMS, RT, to the hospitalist team at St. Claire Regional Medical Center.

“Morehead and the surrounding area have a special place in my heart and I’ve always wanted to work at St. Claire,” said Baier. “It means a lot to me to be able to take care of the patients in the community where I live.”

A native of Grayson, Baier always knew she wanted to work in the medical field and was drawn to diagnostic imaging. She began her career as a registered diagnostic medical sonographer after earning her Associate of Science in Radiologic Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from Morehead State University.

She loved performing ultrasounds and found working with patients very rewarding. As her interest in diagnosis and treatment grew, she wanted to become more involved in patient care. Baier decided to continue her education, obtaining her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Kentucky in 2019.

Now, Baier is joining a team of highly qualified physicians at St. Claire HealthCare who specialize in the coordination of medical care for hospitalized patients.

“I’m excited about the opportunity to work with the team at St. Claire and be able to make a difference in the lives of the patients,” she added. “It is rewarding to know the role you play in diagnosing and treating a condition can change the lives of the patient and their family.”
