St. Claire HealthCare Nurses Complete Winter Nursing Fellowship

St. Claire HealthCare is happy to announce that seven members of its nursing staff have completed SCH’s Nursing Fellowship. This 12-week program is for new nurses who have recently graduated and are working in the Medical-Surgical Unit, ICU, or Emergency Department. Nurses participate in a combination of classes and rotations in addition to the nursing preceptorship for new nurse graduates or those who have been out of school for less than a year.

Congratulations to the nurses who have completed the 2023 Winter Fellowship:

• Kaleb Bradley, RN, is a Morehead State University graduate and an Olive Hill, KY resident.
• Codie James, RN, is a Morehead State University graduate and an Olive Hill, KY resident.
• Kaylee Flannery, RN, is a Morehead State University graduate and a Morehead, KY resident.
• Emily Jenkins, LPN, is a graduate of Maysville Community and Technical College and a resident of
  West Liberty, KY.
• Makenzie Hopkins, BSN, RN, is a graduate of Morehead State University and a resident of Virgie, KY.
• Madelyn McElfresh, BSN, RN, is a graduate of Morehead State University and a resident of
  Maysville, KY.
• Cassandra Parker, RN, is a Morehead State University graduate and a Morehead, KY resident.

“These nurses have demonstrated that they are not only committed to their profession but they are committed to their patients,” said Donald H. Lloyd, II, SCH President/CEO. “I am so proud of the work they are doing to support our mission in proclaiming God’s goodness through a healing ministry to the people of Eastern Kentucky.”
