St. Claire HealthCare Celebrates National Nurses Week May 6 - May 12

Each day, the nurses at St. Claire HealthCare (SCH) are dedicated to caring for the people of Eastern Kentucky. National Nurses Week, celebrated May 6-12 is an opportunity to recognize all their hard work. This week, and every day, SCH is proud to have nurses who go above and beyond to care for the people in our community.

“Our mission of ‘Proclaiming God’s goodness through a healing ministry to the people of Eastern Kentucky’ is alive and well and evident in the care our nurses provide to each and every patient and family member,” said Lerae Wilson, DNP, RN, SCH’s VP of Patient Services, Chief Nursing Officer.

Nurses across the nation have endured long shifts, shortened breaks, and time away from their families to answer a call to help others in times of need, and that’s never been more true than during the COVID pandemic.
