Ramey Named Clinic Manager of St. Claire Hospice

St. Claire HealthCare (SCH) is pleased to announce Angela Ramey, RN, as the new clinic manager for SCH’s Hospice Program.

“Angie has worked for SCH as a nurse since 2008 and brings years of knowledge and experience to Hospice. She is highly respected by her co-workers with a passion for mentoring and educating her colleagues,” stated Jennifer Hardin, PA-C, SCH Director of HomeCare Services. “We are thrilled to have Angie as a part of the Hospice management team.”

Originally from Carter County, Kentucky, Ramey graduated from Morehead State University in 2004 with a BSN. As clinic manager, she leads the Hospice team to meet its mission, goals, and strategic plans. She guides and develops her team, and ensures they stay current and comply with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Ramey is excited by the opportunity to continue to help people in her new role and to lead her team to continue the high level of care given to their patients. She loves her job and having the opportunity to help the people of Eastern Kentucky in their times of need.

SCH’s Hospice Program is specifically designed to relieve symptoms and support patients and their families at the end of the patient's life. It focuses on helping a person feel comfortable by addressing issues causing physical or emotional pain or suffering.
