Kayla Crawford, MSN, APRN, Joins St. Claire HealthCare Urgent Care Team

St. Claire HealthCare (SCH) is excited to welcome Kayla Crawford, MSN, APRN, to the St. Claire HealthCare Urgent Care team!

Crawford will be joining a team of providers that all have a common goal for the new urgent care … to bring a new level of convenient care to the Morehead area. The new service will be open and ready to serve patients at 8 AM on Thursday, March 17!

“I was born and raised in Morehead, so to me, this is home. I’m excited to be a part of bringing this service to the area alongside some other familiar faces,” said Crawford.

Crawford will be joining Katie Martin, PA-C, and Amy Amburgey, DNP, APRN, at St. Claire HealthCare Urgent Care. She brings over five years of emergency care experience to the team.

Crawford completed her undergraduate degree at Morehead State University, then continued her education at Walden University where she earned a Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus.

“Healthcare is a continuity of care from one place to another, from one specialty to another,” said Crawford. “When someone doesn’t necessarily need an emergency room visit and it’s not convenient for them to wait for an appointment to see their primary care doctor, we will bridge the gap between the two and offer them the care they need when they need it and with the extended hours, we can provide that care when its convenient for them.”

St. Claire HealthCare Urgent Care will be located at the St. Claire Outpatient Center (1028 East Main St., Morehead, KY, 40351). Care will be available Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 8 PM, Saturday from 8 AM to 4 PM, and Sunday from Noon to 4 PM.
