St. Claire HealthCare Welcomes Merry Jo Cloud, APRN, to its Owingsville Clinic

St. Claire HealthCare (SCH) is proud to welcome Merry Jo Cloud, APRN, to its Owingsville Clinic where she joins Aaron “Parker” Banks, DO, in providing primary care for the entire family.

“Transitioning to the Owingsville clinic is an exciting, new move for me,” said Cloud. “I’ve worked as an inpatient nurse for years, so this new position will be a little different, but a nice change for me.”

Cloud began her nursing career with SCH in 2001 as a tech on the 3-Center med-surg nursing unit at St. Claire Regional Medical Center. She remained on the unit throughout nursing school and continued her career as an inpatient nurse until making the transition to Owingsville.

Cloud earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Morehead State University. She continued her education earning a Master of Science in Nursing Education and became a Family Nurse Practitioner through Northern Kentucky University.

“Working at the clinic has been a big change for my career, but I’m looking forward to building relationships with my patients and helping them to get on track for a healthier lifestyle,” said Cloud. “My job is to help patients create a care plan that can be beneficial to their health and prevent unnecessary emergency visits or hospitalizations.”

In her spare time, Cloud enjoys spending time outdoors, watching her daughter play softball, and reading.
