St. Claire HealthCare Reminds Community of Ways to Protect Themselves as COVID-19 Cases Rise

St. Claire HealthCare (SCH) urges you to do your part in slowing the spread of COVID-19, especially as the number of cases continues to rise. Wear your mask, practice good hand hygiene, get vaccinated, and get tested, when necessary.

SCH offers the COVID-19 vaccine to those that are ages 5 years or older. The Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine and the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine are both available and require a second dose to get the most protection the vaccine has to offer against this serious disease.

Booster doses to increase your level of protection are also offered. You can schedule your COVID-19 vaccine or booster by calling 606.783.7539. Schedulers are available to take your call Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM.

If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID, or have been recently exposed, consider getting tested. SCH has partnered with Wild Health to offer COVID-19 testing at the St. Claire Medical Pavilion from 8 AM to 3 PM daily. Results for the antigen rapid test can be available via email as soon as two hours after being tested. To schedule an appointment and complete the required pre-registration, visit www.wildhealthtesting.com/stclaire. PCR COVID-19 tests are also available.

We can’t fight this fight alone. Help us do what it takes to stop the spread and protect our community.
