Ingels Named as Quality and Compliance RN for St. Claire HealthCare Hospice

St. Claire HealthCare (SCH) is pleased to announce Emily Ingels, RN, as the new Quality and Compliance RN for its hospice program.

Ingels graduated from Morehead State University as a RN in 2007 and joined SCH’s Hospice team in 2020. During her time with Hospice, Ingels has served in all of the counties in which the service operates and has helped many families cope with issues associated with the terminal illnesses of a loved one.

“I am thrilled to have Emily in the role of Hospice Quality and Compliance RN. With the rapidly changing Joint Commission and Medicare regulatory requirements, we must have a strong focus on the quality and compliance within our hospice program,” said Jennifer Hardin, PA-C, Director of HomeCare Services. “Emily’s attention to detail and desire to develop a strong Hospice Quality Program will be such an asset. Her guidance will assist in providing the highest quality care to our patients.”

As the Hospice Quality and Compliance RN, Ingels will organize, coordinate and evaluate performance improvement and educational programs for the Hospice staff. Additionally, she will provide regulatory guidance on Joint Commission and Medicare regulations.

“I am excited to be managing the quality and compliance for St. Claire Hospice. The mission of St. Claire is at the heart of our HomeCare services. Our quality program shows the high level of dedication of our staff,” stated Ingels. “We work every day as we serve our community to fulfill that mission.”
