Hillary Carroll, MSN, APRN, Joins St. Claire HealthCare’s Urgent Care Team

St. Claire HealthCare (SCH) is excited to welcome Hillary Carroll, MSN, APRN, to the SCH Urgent Care team!

“I just love helping people, so being a nurse has been very rewarding for me,” said Carroll. “Working in the urgent care setting gives me the opportunity to lift spirits and make people feel better, even when they’d prefer to be anywhere else at that moment.”

Carroll’s love for helping others has led her down a path of caring for people as a nurse for nearly 10 years.

“I have worked as a bedside nurse for six years, working everything from med-surg to rehab. I also have experience with over two years of urgent care, as well as pediatric primary care practice,” said Carroll.

Carroll earned her nursing degree from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., then continued her education at Walden University, where she earned a Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus.

“St. Claire has been so welcoming. Everyone truly lives by the mission to proclaim God's goodness through a healing ministry to the people of Eastern Kentucky and I love that they do what they can to bring light to that,” said Carroll.

Patients seeking express, walk-in care can get the quality treatment they need at SCH Urgent Care, temporarily located at the St. Claire Outpatient Center at 1028 E. Main St., (just off US 60 East).

Care for common illnesses and moderate injuries, as well as wellness physicals, are available Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 8 PM, Saturday from 8 AM to 4 PM, and Sunday from Noon to 4 PM.
