Christmas Cheer Brought to St. Claire HealthCare

Christmas Cheer Brought to St. Claire HealthCare

“Christmas is a time to cherish our loved ones, family, and friends. It’s a time to reflect on the past and look forward to the future. The future at St. Claire HealthCare is bright,” said Donald H. Lloyd, II, SCH President/CEO.

It’s an annual tradition for St. Claire HealthCare (SCH) to invite family and friends to ring in the holiday season with an annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony. This year, the community gathered around the nearly 20-foot Christmas tree outside of the St. Claire Medical Pavilion to enjoy enchanting Christmas music performed by Scott Miller and the blessing of the tree by Sister Judine Lambert, SND. SCH physicians, Megan Dillon, MD (Emergency Medicine); Amber Sexton, DO (Family Medicine); Amy Tefft, MD (General/Breast Surgery); and Erin Waddell, MD (Pediatrics), had the honor of lighting this year’s tree.

“This group of young doctors is representative of the future St. Claire is creating for our patients, staff, and community,” said Lloyd.

Following the ceremony, SCH staff, family, and friends spent the evening with Santa Claus. Children enjoyed photos with Santa and his elves, refreshments, snacks, and a showing of “Frosty the Snowman” at the Center for Health, Education & Research.

Christmas cheer continues to spread throughout SCH this holiday as we celebrate our Christmas blessings.
