Compton Named Manager of Central Sterile Services at St. Claire HealthCare

St. Claire HealthCare (SCH) is pleased to announce Amanda Compton, CRCST, as the new Manager of Central Sterile Services.

In her new role, Compton will oversee day-to-day operations for the Sterile Processing Department working to ensure patient safety, effective quality control, and on-time service delivery.

“I’m very blessed to be a part of St. Claire,” said Compton. “It’s obvious that you are not just another number whenever you join this team. Everyone is friendly and helpful, but most importantly, patient-oriented. I’m excited to start this journey!”

A native of Kenova, West Virginia, Compton worked for over a decade at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Central Sterile Services. She completed her Central Sterile Technician Certificate through Purdue University’s online program. She then obtained her Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) through the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA).
