St. Claire HealthCare to Host FREE Community Health Fair to Raise Awareness for Colon Cancer

Join us on Thursday, March 7 for a free Colon Cancer Awareness Health Fair hosted by St. Claire HealthCare. The first 100 guests will receive a FREE T-shirt! Plus, register to win a FREE pair of Brooks shoes and many other great door prizes.

“Colon cancer is the third most commonly diagnosed cancer in men and women. When detected early, it is one of the most preventable and most treatable forms of cancer,” says St. Claire gastroenterologist Thadis C. Cox, MD. “Still, a third of at-risk adults have not taken steps to make sure their cancer is caught before it can advance.”

Everyone is encouraged to join us for FREE health screenings and educational resources. Tour the mega-sized, inflatable colon to learn more about colon cancer risks, and pick your FREE take-home FIT kit which screens for a potential marker of colon cancer. Health screenings will include cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure, BMI, DermaScan, and more. (No appointments are needed and fasting is not required.)

The health fair will be from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Morehead Conference Center located at 111 East First Street in Morehead.
