Michael E. Vega, MD

I have had the privilege to be an Anesthesiologist for 27 years and to have practiced alongside my father in Huntington WV for the majority of those years. Having experienced residency at Vanderbilt prepared me well for my career. I practiced early on in Chronic Pain Management as well as general anesthesia. I have done a summer sabbatical at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and truly enjoy every aspect of anesthesia. Now at St Claire’s as Director, I feel that we have put together a very strong department and look forward to providing great anesthesia care for the region served.
