Help managing medication costs
The cost of medication should not prevent you from following the treatment plan developed with your healthcare provider.
UK St. Claire’s Chronic Care Medication Management Clinic helps eligible patients who are having difficulty affording medications because of:
- High copayments
- Limited or denied insurance coverage
- Lack of prescription insurance
- The ongoing cost of medications used to manage chronic conditions
Licensed pharmacists work with patients and their healthcare providers to identify practical options for obtaining necessary medications.
Enrollment restrictions apply. Call 606-780-5550 to learn whether the program may be available to you.
One-on-one medication review
Eligible patients in the Chronic Care Medication Management Clinic may meet individually with a pharmacist to review:
- Current medications
- Dosing and instructions
- Possible medication interactions
- How well medications are working
- Whether medications are being taken as prescribed
- Cost or coverage concerns
This service is provided at no additional cost to eligible patients enrolled in the clinic. Call 606-780-5550 for more information.
