UK St. Claire’s oncology team delivers a personalized care plan for every stage of a patient’s cancer treatment and recovery. Our professional and compassionate team is with you and your loved one throughout the cancer journey.

Our experienced oncology/hematology doctors provide treatment based on individual needs. Our cancer services include radiation medicine, chemotherapy administered by nationally certified oncology nurses, spiritual care, cancer-related education and a variety of social support. We also provide surgical options and procedures performed by highly skilled, board-certified surgeons, as well as access to advanced treatments and clinical trials through our affiliation with the UK Markey Cancer Center.

Patient navigator

Beginning a cancer journey can be a frightening experience. We understand that. In many cases, we have gone through it with our own family and friends.

At UK St. Claire, our cancer patients have a mentor that advocates for them, assists in coordinating appointments, and serves as a resource for hospital and community-based services. Our patient navigator provides assistance from diagnosis to recovery. They help set up appointments, medical tests, provide support to the patient and family, and often make calls to communicate with you and work with you to assist with transportation or other social support needs.
