St. Claire (now UK St. Claire) opened its doors on July 1, 1963, as a general acute care hospital with 41 beds, 9 nurses and 6 physicians representing 3 medical specialties (General Practice, Surgery and Internal Medicine).
Today, UK St. Claire Regional Medical Center is the largest rural hospital in Northeastern Kentucky.
All UK St. Claire services are accredited by the Joint Commission.

St. Claire Café
Located on the 2nd floor of the hospital, the Café is open daily from 6:30 AM to 7 PM.
