Jeffrey L. Ellis, MD

I am originally from Morehead and I choose to work at St. Claire because I feel that it is a first-class medical institution. I was familiar with the area, and I felt that I would enjoy working with the physicians and patients of this region.

I was drawn to work in healthcare as a pathologist because I enjoyed the challenge of arriving at an accurate diagnosis and playing a role in the treatment planning of patients. My professional interests include general surgical pathology and the diagnosis of diseases of the skin, gastrointestinal tract and gyn system.

My hobbies include oil painting and traveling.
