I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a doctor. I never wanted to be an astronaut or a cowboy or anything like that, I always just wanted to be a doctor.

One of the most appealing things about being a general surgeon is being able to help people during some of their greatest times of need. I love taking care of sick people because they really need someone. The look on a patient's face when you’re telling them we got all the cancer out and they’re going to be fine—I can be that someone who helps them get healthy and back to their old selves again.

I specialize in minimally invasive surgeries including colon, hernia, gallbladder and acid reflux (GERD). I also perform melanoma and breast surgeries and have a special interest in treating thyroid and parathyroid glands, hemorrhoid and
anorectal disorders.
