Staley will additionally support communication related to the university’s efforts to better connect UK HealthCare, UK St. Claire and UK King’s Daughters through aligned systems and shared services. Before joining UK HealthCare, Staley most recently served as communications director for Governor Andy Beshear, helping guide statewide messaging during the pandemic, natural disasters and major public-health and economic initiatives. She also served in senior communication roles in the Kentucky Office of the Attorney General, supporting public messaging during major legal and regulatory matters. Earlier in her career, she led communication efforts for statewide workforce programs that benefited state employees and health plan members across Kentucky.
Staley is a graduate of Morehead State University and holds a master’s degree from the University of Kentucky’s Martin School of Public Policy and Administration.
