COVID-19 Reporting

It's important to us to keep our residents and their families informed about any cases of COVID-19 on St. Claire Regional Medical Center's Transitional Care Unit. St. Claire HealthCare will inform residents of it's Transitional Care Unit, their family members, and representatives by 5:00 PM the next calendar day following the occurrence of:

• A single confirmed infection of COVID-19 or;
• Three or more residents or staff with a new-onset of respiratory symptoms occurring within 72 hours of each other

Should either of these instances occur, we will provide cumulative updates at least weekly. We will also inform you of the mitigating actions we have implemented to prevent or reduce the risk of transmission and will let you know if normal facility operations will be altered.

This information will be communicated by a phone call. We can assure you we will respect patient privacy and will not include personally identifiable information when making notifications.

This policy is in accordance with CDC regulations.
