Hospital Visitors

  • All visitors must be 18 or older.
  • All visitors must sign in and out with security and be screened before entering this facility. No one experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or with a temperature of 100.4 or above will be allowed inside the facility.
  • Mask must be worn at all times.
  • Visitors must stay in the patient’s room. Visitors will not be allowed in gather the hallways or at the nurses’ station, and the St. Claire Café is closed to visitors until further notice.
  • Information regarding the patient’s condition will be given to the designated “spokesperson”. The designated spokesperson will be responsible for sharing information with family members or loved ones who should have this information. The “spokesperson” should plan to be at the hospital by 8 AM every morning to participate in care rounds with the healthcare team and obtain information about the patient’s condition. If your spokesperson is not present during morning rounds, your nurse will call them at the phone number they have provided with an update on your condition at their earliest convenience, typically between 11 AM and 1 PM. Calls will also be made at any time your condition may suddenly change.

Visiting Hours

Visiting hours will be strictly enforced. Visitation is restricted for COVID patients.
*Patients with communication disabilities are allowed access to a support person to allow effective communication as long as the request can be reasonably accommodated.

  • Behavioral Health Unit: Closed to all visitors until further notice.
  • Emergency Department: Only one visitor.
    *Exception - Pediatric patients may have two parents at bedside. Compassionate visitation exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.
  • Intensive/Progressive Care Units (ICU/PCU): 8 - 11 AM - Only one visitor at a time. A patient may identify two people who can visit them per stay. The first visitor must leave the hospital before the second visitor arrives.
  • Labor & Delivery: Only one essential support person allowed. No visitors.
  • Med-Surg Units (3 Center/3 North): 8 AM - 7 PM - Only one visitor. A patient may identify two people who can visit them per stay. The first visitor must leave the hospital before the second visitor arrives.
  • Post-Operative Patients (4th floor): 8 AM - 7 PM - Only one visitor. A patient may identify two people who can visit them per stay. The first visitor must leave the hospital before the second visitor arrives.
  • Transitional Care/Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (TCU/IRU - 5th floor): 8 AM - 7 PM - Only one visitor. A patient may identify two people who can visit them per stay. The first visitor must leave the hospital before the second visitor arrives.

St. Claire Café

The St. Claire Café is closed to visitors until further notice.

  • First floor: Near main elevators and gift shop
  • Third floor: North
  • Fifth floor: TCU/IRU (beverages only)
