Diana Rose, APRN
Diana Rose, APRN, is now seeing and accepting new patients at the SCR Family Medicine location in Sandy Hook.
Rose, who transferred to Family Medicine in early January, has been employed with SCR since August 2015 as a nurse practitioner in the emergency department. She previously served as a clinical instructor for the Morehead State University (MSU) Department of Nursing. Before becoming an instructor, Rose completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at MSU and received a master’s degree in nursing education from the University of Phoenix.
“My transition to (Family Medicine) has been seamless, thanks to my new patients and the staff in Sandy Hook,” Rose said. “I hope to be able to provide care to the people of this community for years to come.”

Caryn R. Grim, PA
Caryn R. Grim, PA, is now seeing and accepting new patients at the SCR Family Medicine location in Morehead.
Grim has been employed with SCR as a radiologic technologist since 2004. She received a bachelor’s degree in university studies from MSU and a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Kentucky (UK).
“I am excited to be a part of such a caring and well-developed team, and am looking forward to seeing patients and taking care of the people here in Eastern Kentucky,” Grim said. “I have lived here my entire life, and it’s always been a goal of mine to give back to the community where I grew up.”

Casey Burke, APRN
Casey Burke, APRN, is now seeing patients at SCR Family Medicine Express in Morehead.
Burke, formerly a clinical instructor for the department of nursing at MSU, has also served as a family nurse practitioner at Hometown Health in Grayson and as a registered nurse at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. Burke received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University.
“I’m really excited to join the St. Claire Regional team and am looking forward to serving the people in the region,” Burke said.

Shane Kiser, PA
Shane Kiser, PA, will join the SCR Department of Surgery in mid-February.
Before arriving at SCR, Kiser was employed with King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, first as a CT/MRI technologist, and most recently as a physician assistant in its Family Care Centers. He was also a staff member at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia, where he served as an MRI technologist. Kiser received a Bachelor of Science in Imaging Sciences from MSU and a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from UK.
“I am looking forward to coming on board at St. Claire Regional,” Kiser said. “Being from the area, it’s nice to be able to give back to the community by providing medical care to those in need.”
