Welcome to the St. Claire TeleCare Web Site. St. Claire TeleCare uses Innovative TeleConferencing Technology to Increase Medical Access to the Foothills of the Appalachians!!!

The program is a partner on the Kentucky TeleCare Network. St. Claire Medical Center (click here for a Brief History) currently has 18 interactive video sites and has been a hub site since March of 1998. St. Claire Medical Center has been performing Telemedicine consults since September 1994. To date there have been over 2000 Telemedicine consults performed. St. Claire TeleCare also has 4 public schools with full TeleCare capabilities. These school sites have proven to increase access while providing high levels of care to all populations of rural Eastern Kentucky. St. Claire TeleCare continues to focus on clinical activities while balancing educational and administrative activities.
