St. Claire Regional Women’s Therapy is dedicated to providing treatments to reduce life-hindering or painful conditions specific to females such as:
- Pelvic pain
- Urinary Incontinence
- Imbalance- Vestibular and Osteoporosis
- Post Breast Surgery Issues
Pelvic Pain & Incontinence: Urinary incontinence may be a temporary condition as a result of child birth, a surgical procedure or urinary tract infections. Chronic incontinence can be a symptom of bladder or pelvic floor muscle weakness or nerve disorders. A comprehensive treatment plan can prevent, reduce or eliminate stress and/or urge incontinence for many women
Post-Breast Surgery: Many women recovering from breast surgery suffer issues such as muscle pain, decreased muscle strength and limited mobility.
SCR offers an inclusive therapy program to help women work through the challenges they may face following breast surgery as well as provide emotional support.
Imbalance-Vestibular and Osteoporosis: Dizziness and balance issues, also referred to as Balance and Vestibular Disorders, can be the result of a stroke or neurological condition, but often the cause of dizziness cannot be identified. But, with a thorough symptom evaluation and therapy many patients can see improvements quickly.
If you are a patient, speak to your family medicine provider to discuss if you may benefit from one of the female specific therapies.
