The Digital Mammography Advantage
Digital mammograms allow SCR radiologists to focus more closely on areas of concern, which enhances the readability and interpretation of the image.

Computer-Assisted Detection (CAD)
CAD Technology assists SCR radiologists in reading mammograms and points out areas of interest that might otherwise go undetected.

Stereotactic Breast Biopsy
This safe and minimally invasive form of breast biopsy allows physicians to obtain a tiny sample from an abnormal breast mass. Biopsies are the only definitive way to confirm that a breast abnormality is cancerous or not.

Breast Ultrasound
3-D Ultrasounds show three dimensional images which are helpful in diagnosing and screening.

St. Claire Regional is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) in digital mammography.

Bone Density Testing (DXA Scan)
This non-invasive test measures how many grams of calcium and other minerals are in bones to help physicians determine risk for osteoporosis.
