Dr. Ali earned his medical degree at Gulbarga University in India. He completed his internship at the University of Kentucky Medical Center and completed his residency and a critical care anesthesiology Fellowship at Washington University Medical Center.

Dr. Ali says that after living and working in and around Lexington, he always wanted to find a smaller community where he could make a difference in people's lives. "Morehead is a place I can see myself fitting in really well. Not only is it family friendly, it offers a wealth of great health care at St. Claire Regional", says Ali.

In Dr. Ali's personal time he enjoys indoor and outdoor activities with his family including cycling, walking and swimming. He also likes to play basketball and tennis.
