St. Claire Regional will be offering free health screenings, as part of their Healthy Living Series, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 2nd at the SCR Family Medical Supply store.

Free health screenings will include balance and sensory, blood pressure, bone density, cholesterol, glucose, pulse rate & oxygen. Romeo Sporici, MD will review screening results and will discuss any health questions.

The SCR Diabetes Team will provide educational materials and answer questions regarding diabetes care. SCR's Rehabilitation Services will provide balance and sensory screenings - which is important for individuals with diabetic peripheral neuropathy. In addition, KY Homeplace will be on-hand with information on accessing reduced cost healthcare.

St. Claire Regional will also be introducing the Aetrex iStep, a digital foot analysis system that uses state-of-the-art digital scanners and pressure sensors to accurately measure feet, determine foot type and pressure points. This patented technology also recommends appropriate footwear and orthotic inserts.
