Residency Project

Residency projects are chosen based on the current needs of patients and the department, as well as the resident's own interests. As a resident at St. Claire you will be involved in choosing your research topic, submitting an application for IRB review and formally presenting your results. The resident is required to present a poster (usually at the ASHP Midyear Clinical Conference) and a formal presentation at a regional residency conference.

Although residents have traditionally presented all or portions of their residency projects as a poster presentation, the venue may vary. Recent residents have presented their posters at the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting, UHC Pharmacy Council Meeting, and poster presentation sessions offered by regional colleges of pharmacy.
