   Breast care challenges are diverse and numerous. Because St. Claire is concerned about local breast cancer statistics and touched by the personal experiences of patients, it is the goal of St. Claire Mammography Services to accurately diagnose breast disease in its earliest, most treatable stages.
   Recently, St. Claire installed a new, high performance mammography unit, the MAMMOMAT 3000 Nova. The new unit offers versatile technology for breast imaging, resulting in high performance for basic screening, special views, and magnification.

   This mammography system will enable St. Claire to serve patients’ needs with excellence, speed, and efficiency.
St. Claire Mammography Services has extended its hours of operation on Thursday afternoons until 5:30 p.m. to accommodate increased mammography needs. St. Claire encourages all women over the age of 40 to have annual mammograms and clinical breast exams.
   St. Claire Mammography Services has been awarded a three-year accreditation from the American College of Radiology as a result of a recent survey by board-certified physicians and medical physicists who are experts in the field. The award recognizes St. Claire Mammography Services for professional staff, facility, equipment, and service excellence.
