Fiddlin’ Funtime

The St. Claire Foundation’s first signature event, Fiddlin’ Funtime, turned out to be the family activity that the Special Events Committee envisioned. It included the best traditional music from our region, good food, creative decorations, and a silent auction to raise funds for St. Claire’s HomeCare, Hospice, and Home Medical Equipment programs.

Individuals, businesses, and organizations and St. Claire departments and clinics throughout the region sponsored over 100 tables. Participants got into the spirit of the event by decorating their tables and bringing food that matched their favorite theme.

The success of the event was made possible through the generous support of Morehead State University that provided their Academic Athletic Center for the event and the Morehead Tourism Commission that granted $5,000 for this regional traditional music event.

In all, St. Claire’s first Fiddlin’ Funtime was a perfect evening and raised over $10,000 for vital Home Health services.
