For those of you who are learning about the Foundation for the first time, let me share a bit of background. The St. Claire Foundation was formed in 2001as a way to bring greater focus and direction in the philanthropic efforts involving the medical center, primary care clinics, home health programs, and the greater community. The Foundation has several very specific areas of focus that are explained in greater detail in this report. The programs and projects undertaken by the Foundation and the medical center are designed with a single goal – to enhance life in our area of northeastern Kentucky. I am proud to report that, in a very short time, the Foundation has helped many of our neighbors by providing information, education, and direct services to individuals, families, and communities. Now we must focus on the long-term. We must seek out other ways to help, and we must seek others to take part. I encourage you to partner with the St. Claire Foundation – whether by offering a monetary donation or volunteering your time to help with a charitable event.
