2012 St. Claire Regional Golf Outing Raises Nearly $125,000 for Charity Care
Participants enjoyed near picture-perfect conditions at this year’s St. Claire Charity Golf Outing.
Near picture-perfect conditions were matched by the generosity of the participants in this year’s St. Claire Regional Medical Center Charity Golf Outing.
More than 150 golfers on 40 teams took part in the annual event, which took place on Sept. 13 at Eagle Trace Golf Course. The event raised approximately $125,000 in cash and donated products to support St. Claire Regional’s charity care efforts.
“I’ve played in many golf outings and that was one of the nicest I’ve ever attended,” said a participant representing a surgical supply company. “Everything was great from the food to the course to the weather! I will definitely be back next year!”
“We love being able to host an event that is so much fun,” said Tom Lewis, St. Claire Foundation Executive Director. “But it’s even more gratifying when you realize that the money that we raise helps us fulfill our mission and provide quality medical care to people who struggle day to day to make ends meet.”
A not-for-profit hospital, St. Claire Regional is sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame in Covington, Ky.
